    Yes, deadly serious.

    Here is a guide that all new members should read - ShadowMaat's X-treme Guide to Gateworld (for newbies).

    You should note that those are old tier levels for avatars (they've been left for general reference). The tier level for a custom AV is definitely 2001+ posts.

      All right ... I confess I haven't cut your hair ... I hate cutting hair. I have this terrible un-un-uncontrollable fear whenever I see hair. When I was a kid I used to hate the sight of hair being cut. My mother said I was a fool. She said the only way to cure it was to become a barber. So I spent five ghastly years at the Hairdressers' Training Centre at Totnes. Can you imagine what it's like cutting the same head for five years? I didn't want to be a barber anyway. I wanted to be a lumberjack. Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia . . .

            Howdy, just thought I'd say hello. So, erm, hello!

            Been into SG-1 for quite a while, and love my gaming and comics (as you can tell from the sig, lol). Recently got net access, so started looking around for somewhere to talk about my fave shows, games and whatnot, then found this place.

                                the site was recommended to me so I joined and I'm just getting used to the different layout really
                                I like the blue background it's easier on my eyes than white :-)
                                I think I filled out profile information alright so people can see who I like in the show (Daniel)
                                I suspect I'll mostly just visit the Daniel discussions really...
