Problems with a GateWorld Ad? - Provide Ad DETAILS

That ad isn't showing for jel,(which is a good thing) but if any of you are still having problems,post here with as many details as possible.
(Ditto if there are other flash/other ads badly affecting your ability to use the Forum!)

I was having the same problem with that ad, but it seems to have solved itself.

Spoke too soon, the problem is back. I get a page with this ad and nothing else:

It took me a few tries to get to this thread. I'm not actually sure how I did it. Just FYI, not complaining or anything.

Every time I click to go anywhere, over the last two days, I get this ad. It redirects from the actual page (even though it says the actual URL), to this ad. I can click back and I'll be on the page I wanted. But it constantly redirects. So far, this is the only ad I've seen do this.

Just wanted to add that I had this exact issue all day today too. Couldn't even get to this page to report the issue until now. Same exact add when I was encountering the problem. I noticed now that there is a different add, which is probably why I was able to get through this time.

it is still hanging around, I am still having problems, the only way I seem to be able to access the pages is to use the back button, that is if I can get to the page I want at all.

Can you let me know how you got rid of it. It is totally blocking me from Gateworld on one of my computers. I've tried a few things to get rid of it but it doesn't go away and it blocks access to Gateworld. I am on a different computer and it just popped up on that one but isn't blocking me on that one.

Can we PLEASE get rid of the Exorcism ad?? It is the ONLY ad and it plays non stop. It's offensive and disgusting and makes me want to never come back here. I find it hard to believe you can't find other advertising options that wouldn't be so literally horrific. Come on Gate world!
