you would likely have to hand type in the code for each one,but it should work. I've seen people put them in rep messages

it didn't work it goes over the 20 character limit ( all that copy and paste for nothing

It will still work...the problem is with the character limit, not whether or not smilies can be used.

well then i would have to make multiple polls and make each poll 20 smiles each and that would make a mass of fun and games folder and it wouldn't be fair to the other members

None of the codes for any of the smilies are over 20 characters.

1. You have included 21 images in your message. You are limited to using 20 images so please go back and correct the problem and then continue again.

I think what we are asking here is
1) are you just wanting to put ONE smilie PER option??
2) If so ..then is the problem that you want to post MORE than 20 smilie options
3) if NOT can you give us an idea what type of poll you are trying to create so we might better give you viable ideas on how to solve your issue

The problem (correct me if I'm wrong, Mal) is that vBulletin has a 20 image limit on a post. This includes any smileys, including those in quotes. Apparently, it also includes the poll options for the initial thread post. It would seem his only option is to use less than 20 smileys over the course of his first post, including poll options.

That is my thought as well ...but until we have a clearer idea of EXACTLY what is needed here...its hard to say....

speculate yes.. ...but Mal you can PM any of us to help you make this poll and we can hammer it out that way instead of here on thread

Ok I'm sure thats not true all the time, you must have the occasional rant about newbies making furling/9th chevron posts and certain members
