According to RDA's site, he broke his ankle in some weird accident. around the middle of February. He is supposed to be off of it for 6 weeks. May explain his absence on the show...for a while.

His absence from the show is because he wants to spend more time with his family.
The studios are still trying to negotiate with RDA on how many episodes he will be in (if any). The running rumor is 4 episodes but nothing is confirmed.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you. -
