    Asteroids, Comets, and Meteors...

Have any of you watched the movies Armageddon and/or Deep Impact? I thought they were both really good movies. I also think that something like that is totally possible. There's no way that NASA or anyone else could track all the space debris, comets and such anyway. What do you all think?

Considering the dinosaurs were wiped out by one... yeah, very possible.

Most of the debris floating out there burns up in the atmosphere, and those that do make it as far as the ground are barely the side of a pebble.

An example of famous bit of meteorite, though scholars are divide, is the Stone of Destiny, upon which all Scottish kings were crowned.

Just this weekend, one tiny meteorite made it to the ground somewhere in Belgium. Apparently looking for it is useless because it's too small, but if some lucky fella would find it anyway through by sheer luck, it would be worth a lot of money.
