Default Goa'uld Gate Travel ship, NOT the Needle Threader, what happened to it?

In the first season of SG1, I believe the episode was Singularity, you see a ship go through the stargate (Though closed), and is also seen during the revised intro for seasons 1-3, (shown here) The Death Gliders are too large to fit inside a stargate, and it does not look even close to the shape of a Needle Threader, so what is it, I don't believe we really see it again, what happened to it?

I think you're mistaken. And it's an understandable mistake (it was just a few weeks ago I was thinking about this topic which is why it's still fresh on my mind). But the glider does go over the gate. Just took a screen cap from the ep. You can see the glider is still behind the gate in reference to the camera.

Agreed with Millennium. It's definitely flying over the Gate, rather than attempting to go through it.
