Nowadays I find astronauts and real spaceflight much more interesting

Because of the quarantine I have found time to get into stuff I normally would not have gotten into. I usually enjoy sci fi like Star Trek and BSG as well as The Expanse but I eventually ran out of space opera and decided to check out Apple's "For All Mankind" out of boredom. I knew about the show but I dismissed it as another "Astronaut Wives Club" type soap opera.

It started off slow but once they got to the space stuff I could ignore all the soap opera stuff and ended up enjoying it. Because of this show I am much more interested in real space flight and harder sci fi. I dived into "The Right Stuff", "Apollo 13", and "First Man" as well as "The Martian" and "Interstellar".

Has the quarantine made astronaut stuff much more relatable?
