Time travel, what a b***h. How confusing was the fact the team on the Zephyr was hopping through time while May and Yolo were at Afterlife?

I followed through it, but gosh even the characters were confused. May telling Yolo the team may have figured something out in 2 days, only to be corrected that the team would only have experienced 20 minutes.
