i remember watching similar bits on the LOTR's DVD set. So much work and effort.
For all the criticisms of HOBBIT -mainly, for me, all the liberties Jackson took with the story- so much work done and physical sets, seldom overlooked with all the CGI
Hoping TPTBs for AMZ's new show (i REFUSE to call it LOTR's on prime!) do a great job as well
