Thumbs down My absence.... Pretty bad news :(

Sorry for my absence guys I know it's been awhile, unfortunately I was diagnosed with a pretty severe kidney infection.... And after a few days of treatment we haven't seen much improvement which could indicate: kidney failure, prostate cancer, and/or a sexually transmitted disease (Which I ruled out, due to the fact I was tested after the last time. Plus I was safe anyway)

So I'm really only left with the really crappy options.... As of right now I'm experiencing very cloudy and a very dark colored urine, and my kidneys feel like Floyd Mayweather went 12 rounds on them and it's two days later and their extremely Black and Blue.. but beyond that I've actually made some progress, Believe it or not.

When I first noticed my urine was so opaque (COMPLETELY cloudy)...so much so in fact that even with the flash on my phone I couldn't see through the urine.I peed into a bottle to test how cloudy it was.) and so dark that it was almost indescribable... Now it's as if every time I go to the bathroom one time it's clear but the color is still dark, and sometimes it's translucent, WAY better than opaque, which is completely NOT see through... But I'm still experiencing the pain in the kidneys, and like I said be on and off translucence.... Which is GREAT progress compared to what it started out as...

I apologize if this seems like TMI...(too much info) but I just wanted to tell everybody what was going on because I literally have no support system... And I know that I just vanished from the forums which I felt really bad for...So I've kind of been in a very bad depression and I've had no one to talk about it with... So if it is TMI to you, I understand if you don't want to comment here... Even though I know that 90% of you are adults, and I'm pretty sure that everyone will understand... I just wanted to say that out loud just in case

So yeah that's what's been going on with me... I'd love to hear from you guys! Please post here, say hello! I've missed all the fun banter and all the Stargate talk! Did I miss anything important? Anythink Stargate related? Anything noteworthy? Please let me know guys, put a smile on my face, I HAVEN'T HAD ONE IN DAYS

Thank you ALL in advance; Talk to you guys soon!
    -Frank

PS: to a moderator or an admin, I've made a bunch of posts and for some reason my post count is stuck at 31... I noticed it the last time I was on the forum, now that I came back I figured I'd test it again. Lo and behold after this post it still stuck at 31... Thank you so much. Feel free to p.m. me if need be.

Well, this is a hard post to respond to.
I am SURE that everyone here who has read this feels for you man, but reacting to it is sorta hard.
"get better" is not appropriate, nor is expecting everyone to care, we ALL have issues, but that in turn sounds insensitive.
If you need a support system, reach out to PEOPLE, people in real life, and if there are none, reach out to us as individuals.

To GW, in general, we are a family, right?
Oh, we piss each other off, and half the time we can't stand each other, but that really is family, isn't it?

Posts in this section do not count. I stand around the 4400 mark, but I have around 12000 in this section alone. You need to speak about Scifi and stargate to boost that number. It's not a reflection of you, at all, it's just the way the system works.

We are the dysfunctional family everybody wishes they had.
    We are the best.

Considering I have the emotional range of a teaspoon, and therefore don't quite know the appropriate phrase to respond to this, and would be more than likely say something wildly inappropriate as a result... I'll go with an image instead (and probably post something likewise inappropriate):

This pretty sums up my emotional range.

    Entirely TMI

Sorry to hear you’ve been having a bad run of it! Health problems are rather a big deal, I hope you’re taking the time to see your doctor about all this—self-diagnosis is the last thing anyone should be doing when it’s someyhing as serious as kidney problems (I mention this only because you never mentioned your doctor).

    As to good geekery?
    • Yesterday the first-ever photo of a black hole was released, confirming the suspicions/assumptions of astrophysicists for the last 70 years, so that’s pretty badass
    • this weekend is the big Star Wars Celebration convention, and it’s rumoured we’ll be getting the first Episode IX trailer
    • Arrow and Flash are back next week
    • Trek TV boss Alex Kurtzman all but confirmed that the Picard show will premiere in December
    • Avengers Endgame is only two weeks away!
    • production on the INSANE new adaptation of Dune has begun

Should also keep your eyes peeled for the new prop we build for this event, a new prop/set also featured in the new film.

Yeah, medical issues suck. I hope the doctors can figure something out to help you.

Damnit Frank I told you it wasn't protein powder in those bags at the airport!
    Spoiler:
I don’t want to be human. I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can’t even express these things properly, because I have to—I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid, limiting spoken language, but I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more.

Been telling my dealer his coke kept giving me boners, but ever since his bags got busted at the airport he's gone dark.
