Spoiler:I don’t want to be human. I want to see gamma rays, I want to hear X-rays, and I want to smell dark matter. Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can’t even express these things properly, because I have to—I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid, limiting spoken language, but I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws, and feel the solar wind of a supernova flowing over me. I’m a machine, and I can know much more.

The bosses were saying "oh, it's ok", and every actual worker was saying they are screwed for days
Naturally, they tried to call me in to work today.
They failed.sigpicALL THANKS TO THE WONDERFUL CREATOR OF THIS SIG GO TO R.I.G.A lie is just a truth that hasn't gone through conversion therapy yetThe truth isn't the truth

This was back in the 70's, when the women's movement was surging forward at a furious pace.
It occurred to me that only the MALE employees were sent out for cart duty, or to load groceries in customer's cars, or for other unpleasant outdoor tasks in January.
I brought this to the attention of the employer, who obviously didn't have a good answer to that question.
I was shown the door shortly thereafter.
This was my first, but certainly not the last exposure to the hypocrisy of women's claims to wanting "equality"

A title I picked up a couple of years ago, and a username I use on the message feed over at Stargate Command.
Check your PM's -- for anyone else: Just scroll on down to the bottom of the page.
We have connections with Disney/Lucasfilm, and ReedPop yes.
But not with actors, I'm afraid.
I'll check my PM's later (am at work and about to head into a meeting -- again).
PM later -- response to Halo marine -- cool!
Now I'll have to replay (like that's so bad ) Halo 3.
And I Got your message, sorry, I was away for a day or two! Check your PMS I responded..I accidentally sent two of them because I screwed up and forgot to write an important part that I didn't include in the first one.. I spaced out.. so I apologize they're split in two.. so you might want to read them both before replying. instead of replying twice... Just giving you a heads up! LOL
Talk to you soon,

I failed my first try at the qualifier too but they let me have a second chance because all I did was mess up a lot of procedural stuff....so one of my other instructors drilled the procedure of how to work on a patient in the clinic over and over until I finally had it down pat and felt confident enough that I knew what I was doing....that guy though was just a real piece of work who probably had no business even trying to learn it.
