Hi all. I am obsessed with the Broadway musical THE PROM. I've seen it 11 times now and I'm seeing it a 12th time in about a week and a half. I'd love to chat with other people who love the show.
For those who don't know, THE PROM is about four Broadway actors that are looking for a little boost to their careers by trying to find some "small injustice" that they can go to, fix, and get good press. They find a trending story about a teenage lesbian who wanted to take her girlfriend to the prom and the PTA responded by canceling prom altogether. Suffice it to say - shenanigans ensue. I cannot speak highly enough of this show. It's an absolute joy. It's hilarious and heartfelt. The cast is fantastic. The actors who play the four Broadway actors had all been working on the show for about six or seven years before it finally got to Broadway. The parts are really tailored to them and show them off so well.
