I also think Lena's suit for Supergirl is quite interesting. I wonder if Kara will finally come clean with Lena?

The radiation suit is direct from the comics. Superman wore something similar when went into space

The writers were way over the top on this one. Their intent, of course, is to advocate for acceptance of aliens, inclusivity, diversity and all that.

But with the load of crap that Lockwood was handed, everything he had was destroyed by aliens; his house, his family's business, his career (he contributed to that, but if aliens weren't around, he would have never been going off at the mouth in class) and so on.

In particular, the scene where Supergirl and an evil alien are fighting, fall into his house, set it on fire, then SG defeats and captures the baddie, and tells Lockwood that he's safe now, as his house burns behind him.

By going so far over the top with this guy, they actually painted Lockwood as a sympathetic character. How much alien-caused crap is the guy supposed to take before he blows a fuse?

No, everything he had was destroyed by bigotry.
His father paid for his education, but because he didn't want no alien scum, people moved onto a superior product, so his dad lost his business due to pride rather than adapting.
His rant's at his job, all on him, and losing his job, all on him.
His house was an -accident-, it wasn't targeted, it wasn't "screw you locky" move, it was in fact the only tragedy he suffered that was beyond his control.

That wasn't SG, it was Martian Manhunter, and you confusing the two is -exactly- the response Lockwood was, as a character is showing.
Misplaced anger.
SG would have just put the fire out with frost breath, cause that what she does. It would not fix the damage already done, but it would prevent more.

It's good to see another perspective. How some people became who they became. They may be heroes but even heroes make mistakes. Not thinking of the consequences is a mistake. People who are mild mannered and accepting can turn if a serious of terrible events affects them so deeply. These "heroes" don't think of the aftermath of their actions and that's a mistake. Anyone is capable of cracking given the right set of circumstances

Oh and Lena helping save an alien, again. But she's not to be trusted because she has a bad surname :sigh:

Oh and why didn't they just send her to Earth 1?
