Not sure I'm a fan of the uniform but it does remind of the sort of stuff they have in STO. Also he's a 4 star Admiral? Starfleet must have made up for 20 years of him turning down promotions.

I guess him going from Captain to 4-star in two years is on the same timescale as you-know-who going from Captain to 3-star in Nemesis

This is a random thought but it suddenly just occurred to me that I hope the credits say “Based on Star Trek The Next Generation” as opposed to the normal “Based on Star Trek”.

And for some reason the Trek social feeds that I follow (and a few that I don't) all stop tweeting around that point, without mentioning whether or not the appearance has ended. Not sure why.

I'm also hearing a bit of [completely unconfirmed] chatter that Data in the show looks like Data in Nemesis--not like he does in the trailer. The chatter is basically that the CGI touchup work to make him look more in line with Nemesis Data wasn't done at the time they were compiling the trailer, which needed to be done in time to be released at NYCC, so it was completed and released with what they had available.
