R.I.P. His contributions to science will live on. The doctor who diagnosed his condition gave him two years to live. He beat that by half a century.

I am happy for him, now there is no longer to need that chair, and he can walk and feed himself and do everything that we take for granted on a daily basis, or not, maybe he is just dead, I think I read that he was an atheist, either way, he is out of the miserable situation he was in, and I am still happy for him. I hope he left his body to science, and they can study it and hopefully find a cure for the ALS that he had.
