    Who Is in the Vault?

    I'm giving this discussion it's own thread.

    So, who do you think is in the vault?

    Here are my guesses:
    1. The Master (most likely)
    2. The 1st Doctor
    3. Missy
    4. The 13th Doctor

    Missy, easily. I don't think it's John Simm's Master, because the Doctor would know he'd just get loose again and regenerate. Containing the "current" incarnation would make the most sense.

      Although the question is, why is he suddenly so dedicated to keeping the Master locked up?

        Nardole is very concerned about the Doctor leaving the vault alone. This may mean that someone very dangerous is in there. But not so dangerous that the Doctor can't open the vault and give the occupant food.

        I think this is a clue that, whoever is in there, they are going to escape.

          My money is on The Master, Missy, or both. But I have a solid track record of being wrong.

            If it's The Master or Missy, then here are two scenarios:

            1. Missy is in the vault. She escapes and finds The Master.
            2. The Master is in the vault. He escapes and finds Missy.
