What episode actually allows me to see Cylons?

In other words, what episode actually has combat in a ship or on land as opposed to just space battles? Ive always wanted to see how the Cylons fight out of their ships.

There's a few.. both eps of kobal's last gleeming in s1 had some ground combat, plus exodus in S3. Iirc while there were some cyclons on galactica in s2's ep Valley of darkness. Then we had those cylon vs cylon battles in the last three eps, Daybreak..

Skimming through the list of episodes, I recall seeing ground combat in a number of episodes, particularly during the first half of Season 2. There are more though; some of note:
      - 2.02 "Valley of Darkness" (aboard Galactica)
      - 2.03 "Fragged" (on Kobol)
      - 2.04 "Resistance" (on Caprica)
      - 2.07 "Home, Part 2" (on Kobol)
      - 3.04 "Exodus, Part 2" (on New Caprica)
      - 3.12 "Rapture" (on the algae planet)
      - 4.19-21 "Daybreak" (aboard Galactica and the Colony)

"Valley of Darkness" and "Daybreak" are probably the most 'intense' examples of ground combat in the series.

For TOS era, "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero" Pts. 1/2 would be a good example. The Cylons have a military outpost set up with a big gun and the colonials decide to raid the place and destroy the gun to let the fleet pass.
But you gotta remember, it was made in 1978, so the Cylons are just men in tin suits and it is painfully obvious.

And their weapons back then, were just 'flashes' with some pop going off elsewhere. No streak of blast (unlike we get in any of the treks or SG), and in some cases, where the weapon was pointed out, was NOT where a pop went off..

Probably it's a good thing they din't show often the cylons, reasons being, if you show the enemy too often you loose that feel of mistery and danger, and you have to use crappier effects to show them more often, otherwise budget would skyrocket
