A question about a Google Chrome issue

I'm having an issue with Chrome and was wondering if anyone else was having this issue too.

An example to explain my issue:
Let's say I have ten tabs open in Chrome and decide to open up Chrome's task manger so that I can end the process of 6 tabs because I want to keep those tabs open but not using any memory. I then go to, let's say, IMDB to look up something. Afterwards, if I were to open up Chrome's task manger I would find those processes I ended recreated. This is an issue that I have been having since Chrome 45. I am currently using Chrome 56 and still don't know what to do to get rid of this issue.

Things I have tried since Chrome version 45 (none of these fixed the issue):
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome
    • Backed up my profile, let Chrome create a new one and then copied extensions, bookmarks, etc. over

This is the only thing a Google search found: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium...tail?id=475113

If you need more detail let me know.

I went over to the Google Chrome Help Forum and asked about my Chrome issue but the only reply I got was the the word puns. I'm not sure what to make of the reply and was hoping someone might be able to tell me.

Also, does anyone know if you can bump a post on the Google Chrome Help Forum because I didn't see anything in the guidelines over there saying you could or couldn't?
