I feel sorry for Jen, I don't fault the PTB for ditching her character in Voyager, she was always a tad creepy.

Well, yes and no. She actually retired from acting back in 2002, when her son was born (can you believe 2002 is 15 years ago?!). A few years after that I believe she went back to school to pursue a new career.

The legal issues are a little more recent. One in 2012, two in 2015, and another early last year--but on the plus side, the charges from 2015 were dropped late last year due to good behaviour and after she paid restitution.

I've always really liked Kes as a character (she's one of my favorites on Voyager), it's sad to hear about what's happened with Jennifer recently.
