Anyone know what happened with Leia's ship after the Empire captured it at the beginning of A new hope? Was it destroyed later? Scrapped?
Retrofitted and made into an imperial war machine??

What of the dozen or so survivors we saw??

If I were to guess, it would have been impounded. Probably eventually retrofitted and sold off to someone or reused in some capacity by the Empire. But I haven't heard of any references to it and I can recall any in the Legends continuity.

I seem to recall the Tantive being used in "later" based books, but I doubt the empire would bother with an outdated correlian corvette.

I could be wrong but didn't Vader tell one of his officers to send a distress call and inform the Senate that all aboard were killed during the movie?

That makes me think he had the ship stashed some place to use in some plan of his later or his gunners used it for target practice to make it look like a pirate attack in case someone came to answer the distress call.
