    Hathor?

It's been stated that Hathor was trapped inside of her sarcophagus for 2000 years but who trapped her? Ra left Earth 5000 years ago so it couldn't be him, I think it was Set, he was still on Earth after Ra left and the Stargate was buried plus Set removed Osiris and Isis from their hosts and placed them in stasis jars...

This is unlikely since Seth had no sarcophagus. Lest he wouldn't need to change hosts every couple hundred years.

Her people could have imprisoned her in there. She could have recognized the fall of the egyptian civilization and locked herself in, something could have happened and they thought she was dead and they buried her....maybe Seth came looking for her and she hid in the sarc, trusting her followers to let her out when he was gone but instead they left her locked in....or it's a plot hole when the writers forgot the timeline they set out in season one when they were writing later season episodes

Hey - I am confused. I thought Ba'al was alive by the end of sg1. What do you mean murdered?
