What if the future that we see in "1969" is the literal end result of, well, everything that happened in the franchise, I notice that in the future the Stargate isn't in much use anymore, which could lead to several possibilities, e.g. public knowledge, Destiny may have even completed its mission, maybe Earth found all the answers it needed, much like the ancients did.
Cassandra did seem incredibly optimistic with SG1 about where their future was heading and seeing as she was able to just magic up a wormhole out of the blue like that (no pun intended) it does leave one wondering what exactly transpired.
It did seem like there was something of a finality to it.
In my head canon this is the true ending of the whole franchise (for now at least)
