Miguel Ferrer (of NCIS:LA and other shows) has died of cancer.

Miguel Ferrer, who had played Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles since 2012 and co-starred with Jill Hennessy on CBS’ Crossing Jordan, died today of cancer. He was 61.

I just heard, that is so sad.


His character on NCIS has been sick on the show - a secret from everyone but Hettie - but no idea that they may have been doing that to write the actor out or accommodate his real illness.

He was an officer on the Excelsior.

I remember him first from that, but mostly from his role as Lloyd Henreid in "the Stand"
