Indeed. Usually if they "uncancel" a show it means that another one that was supposed to be on schedule imploded somehow, like couldn't secure some actors for the season, or it was worse than they hoped it would be. But usually because something they planned turned out to be too expensive.

Oh good there are others here that has watched this. I enjoyed it. Can't wait for s2 and so glad they uncancelled it. I think this show was a slow burn for sure.

I too grow tired of these overly long breaks. I actually thought Timeless got canceled.
That's what happens. Casual viewers will think it got canceled and then execs will scratch their heads and wonder why ratings took huge dumps. Dr. Who is a cultural giant and can take such hits. A new niche show like Timeless can not easily handle such things.

I agree with aretood- they will have to advertise the heck out of it to get people to watch.

Doubt it, I think the only reason it got uncancelled was because another show the NBC were hoping would go to series was dropped because the actors got fedup waiting and signed onto something else, so they had a slot in their schedule that needed filling and this was next in line.

Expect this to be its swan song series and to be cancelled again soon, then if they do renew it for season 3, we can all be pleasantly surprised.
