Kansas City: Stargate Fan Group

I'm interested in starting a Stargate group in the KC metro area.

Only have some initial thoughts on it, but it'd be awesome. I know of some space available at a local business that could be rented out once a month, that would be perfect for gathering, talking/watching Stargate, playing the Stargate board game, various Stargate stuff.

Anybody located in the Kansas City area, within a reasonable driving distance, or know anybody else in the area?

Ah, I see, there's a sub-forum just for this (someone moved it). I wouldn't call it "Kansas City: Stargate Fan Group". We can come up with a cool name.

Well here we go... moving forward with developing Stargate: Kansas City, consisting of SGKC, the convention, and SGKC, also as a group for monthly meetups. Initial brainstorming is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/sgkc
