don't ask me why this show popped in to my head, my brain is a wonder land of ,well, wonder land, any way, this short lived cowboy/ scifi show-short on the scifi- is something I remembered and thought I would share, just give it till the first 10 minutes the credits really take a while.

Outlaws -1986 - with Rod Taylor, William Lucking, Richard Roundtree, Charles Napier. A sheriff and four desperadoes are transported from 1899 Texas to 1986 Houston, where they adjust to their `startling new world' by applying their skills to detective work.

I remember that. A friend of mine had just completed an independent film with roughly the same plot, although his was not very good. One thing I do remember, since it was supposedly set in and near Houston, is a scene in an area that could only have been in far West Texas.
