Problem with going to the comic store to find them...it can be a lottery to see what they have in stock. But I want this one!
I have my local order them in specifically.

Now just tell us when we can expect Universe! Lol

Also, with each 3 issued arc being considered an episode how will you guys handle collected editions? And how many episodes are planned for season 6?

And finally, are the ideas from Copper being used for the Universe prequel or season 3? And is this the same Universe prequel that Dynamite Comics had planned?
Lots of questions. I'll try my best to answer.

      1. There is no firm date on Universe yet. The team is super busy on the Atlantis comics, and we're waiting for an artist's schedule to free up before going full steam on the Universe ones. Should be soon, though.
      2. Collected editions and how many episodes...no idea, sorry. I'm guessing the answer to the 'how many' will be 'as long as people keep buying them'
      3. I don't know about the prequel that Dynamite Comics had planned...if you have any details, please post them. I've been focussed squarely on the prequels from RC's outlines for several months. Just beginning the discussions for the sequels.

      Hope that helps.

        It does! Thanks!

Here are some links on the dynamite comics. They were going to do sg1 season 11, SGA season 6 and universe prequels. The prequels were supposed to have input from Wright and Copper I believe. For some reason the dropped these ideas and we got the Daniel Jackson and Vala comics instead. Check these links out...

          Hi Lightsyder,

I'll answer as best I can. As for the SGU books, I'm not involved with that series so I have no idea what's going on in that camp. Lmoroney is the guy to ask and I'm sure he'll gladly answer any questions you have about all things SGU, he's a cool guy.

In regards to three issue story arcs and collected editions, what I know for sure is there will be three issues in SGA: Back to Pegasus as well as SGA: Gateways. There's hopes of doing another three issue arc after Gateways but this is a licensed property and a lot of it's up to MGM. The entire creative team on Gateways is really hoping to continue the series so if we get the thumbs up from MGM, I'll be sure to let you guys know. Collected editions has not been discussed at this point but that's not to say it won't be or just hasn't been told to us yet.

          I hope this helps.

It helps a lot. Much appreciated.

What is up to MGM? Do you guys have the license on an episode by episode basis? Or does MGM base continuing the partnership by sales? I had assumed American Mythology had the rights for at least a year or so. I figured that would be a standard contract. Just speculation on my part of course. I'm sure MGM has final approval on all issues and the cobntent of course.

I'm not really involved on the licensing side, so I cannot answer that...sorry.

MGM have been very involved in feedback on all issues and content. As a fan, I find that very reassuring -- it shows that they care about this franchise.

Thanks for sharing the links...I don't know what they were working on. I have outlines from RC that I turned into comic book scripts for the prequels. Not sure if they are the same that you alluded to....but they *are* really good

Writers Mark Haynes and JC Vaughn are telling each story arc in three issue. Back to Pegasus, the first story arc, drawn by Greg LaRoque, will end with issue #3. Stargate Atlantis: Back to Pegasus issues #1 and #2 are available now at your local comic shops or at Comixology: http://https://www.comixology.com/St...l-comic/366830. Issue three is scheduled to release Aug 10. Gateways, the next story arc, will also run for three issues with the first issue scheduled to release Oct 26. Each three-part story arc will be representative of an episode from the TV series. Each arc will begin with issue #1 and end with issue #3. I've finished the art for issue #1 of Gateways and am currently working on issue #2. Gateways #1 is now listed and available for preorder in Previews here: http://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/AUG161131 Feel free to follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/RancidPlague or add me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DarthSWAT to stay up to date with Stargate Atlantis news and even the art I share. Again, I really hope this clears up any questions or doubts about the series and it's future. American Mythology is very dedicated to Stargate Atlantis as am I. I believe once you see the pages you'll see just how dedicated we are. Like you guys, I loved the TV series so this is a dream come true.
                  Welcome to the forum, SWAT!

I liked the short piece you wrote for the Previews catalogue. Looking forward to seeing your work in October!

Printed editions of Back to Pegasus #3 looks like it is in the process of being added to online retailers. The write-up and order features are enabled and the cover images are coming soon to Midtown comics.

A little bit of news on Issues 7-8-9 of the Stargate comics, from Greg LaRoque's blog:

                        http://www.artistgreg.com/blog/2016/...ti2pj4015cx4hk

The title for the 3 issue arc is 'To Align the Stars'. We've been working on a pretty epic storyline that has impact on all of the Stargate storylines. It's very different, and I really hope you like it!

My Kindle will not display the comics, but Amazon was on top of their game and automatically gave me the option of either adding a different device or getting a quick, hassle-free refund. If anyone wonders if their devices are compatible, it is nice to know one can find out risk-free.

So, for now, I have to stick with print and ordered 3 and 4 from American Mythology.
