Astra's Star Trek figures in action

Hi! You may already know my funny action figure stories for Stargate, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Arrow or Sherlock, but now I have started with Star Trek as well. I am also customizing some figures. Kirk with ripped shirt was just finished. What do you think?

    And som step-by-step pictures:

Thank you maneth, glad you like it!

So today is Star Trek anniversary you say? Let’s have a party then! This story was done back in Summer together with friends. Seemed like a good day to post it. We giggled a lot while setting this up:

      The preparations:

Sulu and Uhura try to heat the meat with a candelabra but it does not quite work.

Cue Scotty and his phaser! We’re ready!

      The picnic:

A picnic is only good if you can have fun with friends. The Star Trek crew invited the Stargate team over.

Edit: I apologize for the picture of Spock with meat. He is vegetarian of course. Apparently none of us realized what a huge mistake we were commiting. Nothing I can do about it now though. Sorry.

The two leaders - Kirk and O'Neill - exchange stories about burden of command, and there’s plenty of food.

      The aftermath:

Daniel and Uhura talk about how to contact new worlds over a cocktail.

Teal'c and Spock, the two aliens, are on first name basis now. In Germany you have to entangle your arms and take a drink to do that.

McCoy, Scotty and Sulu play cards.

      Kirk flirts with Sam.

Jack is not happy about this and takes to the Saurian Brandy.

Then he gets out the guitar to win Sam back - and it seems to work.

And so we leave them to their privacy - wait, what are Uhura and Scotty doing there?!?

I watched the Star Trek movie "Generations"! And I couldn't help myself. Sadly I don't own a Picard figure.

In the audio commentary of “Star Trek - The Motion Picture” they talk about a cut scene where McCoy had resigned and was now treating wildcats in a park, and Kirk came to persuade him to come back.

            I wanted to create that!

The white “chair” you see at the left side? That’s from when you get pizza, they put it inside so the lid is not on the pizza. Perfect size. The "cage" is something you get when buying fruit.

The original scene in the movie then went like this: Dammit Bones, I need you

Kevin Riley said in the Star Trek TOS episode "Naked Time" that there was a bowling alley at the Enterprise. But we never saw it - until now

I am a huge fan of "Star Trek Continues" who continues making new episodes with our beloved TOS characters. They have an Indiegogo campaign at the moment for funding new episodes, which you can found here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/s...ek-continues#/

And if you don't know STC, watch the episodes here - believe me, they are simply awesome: http://www.startrekcontinues.com/episodes.html

To help getting the word out for more money, I made this yesterday evening.

Look what I built yesterday! Isn't that awesome? I always wanted a bridge, now I have one. These are called Mega Bloks

But I think they are very new, the first two sets - bridge and transporter room - are already available. Many more are expected in the fall, also complete ships.

I always wanted a bridge and now I finally have one. I am totally blown away!

The doors can be slid open. I need to find a good picture of the turbolift to put behind them:

You also can undo the hinges and use it as a flat display:

There is even little NOMAD floating about!

The figures are a bit bigger than LEGO and have certainly more joints. Ballpoint shoulder joint so the arms go also sideways, as well as knee and elbow joints:

And even a little tricorder, communicator and phasers:

The instructions are very easy to follow. I highly recommend this and the other sets!
