But surely the stations have face-recognition software, so it wouldn't matter what registration code they use. Unless of course they aren't really wanted criminals, but just that whomever wiped their memories wants them to believe that, which would point to the Android as part of the conspiracy since she is the one who revealed that information to them.

Given how much trouble the Raza has caused at the previous station, shouldn't more than false registrations be needed?

I would expect fairly tight screening of all incoming and outgoing passengers, just like they do at airports today. I'm not buying no one detecting their presence either.
