Where did the city ship on eldreds planet come from

Which one? the one in the Tower? it's likely that it came from the Milky Way like atlantis.

Could have came from the Milky Way. Could have came from Earth with Atlantis or could have been built after Atlantis arrived in Pegasus. Makes sense to have multiple ones.

Hell could have been cool if Atlantis found another intact city ship only to be destroyed, but they managed to salvage alot from it.

That would be cool but the producers never wanted to give the SG teams any advantage... ever... Once they get something new, oops it gets blown up....

They did that alot in SG-1.

IMO it was more than likely built by the ancients when they got to the PG.. but with the rise of the wraith, they were kicked off that planet too quickly do really do much about it.

The staple of just about every episode-of-the-week show is that it inevitably goes back to the Status Quo. Stargate is hardly unique in it.
