People will keep paying to see them so they'll keep making them. I do believe there are hundreds of superheroes to choose from so they won't be stopping anytime soon.

It will get to a point when they decide to reboot the series and we'll start all over again.

If they were all being released this year then it would be a problem.. But you're talking about movies released between now and 2020.. If you counted all the cheesy romantic comedies released in the same time frame you would probably get a similar number. Or action movies with 80's stars clinging to fame.. etc..

I would rather have superhero movies than an endless run of jump scare trash pretending to be horror movies, which is what we had before the current trend really took off. Eventually it will fade and be replaced by a seemingly endless run of another genre. And when that happens you'll be demanding your superheroes back

Would be fine, *IF* they would stop rebooting everything and continue with the storyline started in previous efforts.

Pretty much this. They make a series of movies then rather then contiue them they dump them like a hot potato and reboot the whole series. It's bloody insane.

I loved the 3 original Spiderman movies and they could have continued them but no reboot. It's bloody ridiculous that they keep doing this time after time.

Those greedy cast and crew demanding more money after subsequent sequels. How dare they?

                  *shakes cane*

And Marvel demanding that Sony make a new Spiderman movie every 4 years or lose the licensing rights. The nerve!

And then forcing a second reboot as part of the new deal to bring Spiderman into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? How dare they!

That one I didn't agree with. From a story point of view it is not that difficult to incorporate the Amazing Spider-man into the MCU. Maybe it was contract related

I think this would be the 3rd reboot of Spiderman.

My guess would be ego related.
