    RIP Christopher Lee

Sad news to hear an icon has passed away, even if he was 93.

    http://deadline.com/2015/06/christop...gs-1201441200/

I am sure he was in the middle of a project. I guess my belief that he really might be a vampire who would live forever was false.

(BTW I hope this is the most appropriate forum to post this in.)

That is so sad, he was a wonderful actor. I didn't even realize he was that old. I was just watching The Fellowship of the Ring last night. I'll probably remember him best as Saruman and Count Dooku.

I also thought he was immortal, seemed young for his age.

Will always remember him as Saruman.

So many roles he could be remembered for...but Dooku and Saruman are probably the ones I liked the most.

I'm probably older than many of you, so I remember seeing some of his Dracula films when they were new, particularly Dracula: Prince of Darkness and Dracula Has Risen From the Grave. He also played a great Mycroft Holmes in The Secret Life of Sherlock Holmes, and had played Sherlock in an earlier movie.

My favorite though? That would be as Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man, the 1973 original, not that pos remake with Nicholas Cage.

It's sad news to read really, I mean I am not old enough to have seen so may films he was in but those which I saw, I liked...first film I remember to have seen he was involved in was "the last Unicorn" and of course I'll remeber him as Saruman

Sad news. I remember him most for his role as Dracula and as the Bond villain in 'The Man With the Golden Gun'.
