Given the amount of screentime and energy the show had devoted to Pottinger last season, this definitely seemed like a very awkward, random and haphazard conclusion to his character. I can't help but feel there must have been something behind the scenes that changed or forced them to make a different choice.

I felt the same way they could have just left him presumed dead in New York if that was the case and then brought him back as a recurring character who shows up alive. I agree with Knowles they sort of ruined his character.

How aobut Omac and stahma being kinda on the same side?
There's something there with him having a 'girlfriend' and her having an equal instead of a bossy not so good husband.
