These episodes seem to be going for a very uncomfortable almost Game of Thrones esque tone.
Multiple main character deaths, gratuitous child murder, characters being held against their will by murderous psychopaths.
Although the Omecs are kind of interesting.
Their history reminds me a little of the wraith, but especially in the way he talked about the Votans, the Omec father remind me a little of Javik."First Weir, then Samantha Carter, and now, you! It's a pity you humans die or get reassigned so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction now!"
