I love the show, and I am very disappointed that it is no longer erring new episodes… But this has always kind of bothered me:
In the show, they had mentioned that some of the aliens have followed Destiny for a very long time and were unable to get past it's defenses… Yet one race was able to attach a pod to the ship, and then the aliens who took Chloe were able to cut a hole right through the top and suck her right out. It seems to me that they could have just as easily cut a hole in the ship to get on board long before the crew appeared. I would think that they would have done so at the first opportunity and left people on board to try to study it, even if they had no prior understanding of any ancient technology… It seems to me that they would have made an attempt.
