Chronicle Collectibles presents the true 1:1 scale helmet of Anubis

We have begun work on the helmets of Anubis, Horus and Ra from Stargate™. Anubis is our first piece we are working on and will be opening pre-orders the week of February 9th! We are only releasing 100 Anubis helmets in the US and 100 to our international distributors, so if you are interested in this piece, please pre-order quickly!

The dimensions of this piece are as follows:
    Helmet itself:
    48" tall x 20" wide x 30" deep
    Pyramid base is 12" x 12" x 12"
    Outer base dimensions (subject to change) 18" x 18" x 18"
    Overall height is 65"

The eyes do light up and the head is pre-posed.
    This is a non-wearable helmet.
    Cost is $1299.99

We will begin work on Horus next. These are very large pieces, so please be patient with us while we work through the intricacies and details. We are excited about these and hope you like them as much as we do!

As always, thank you all for your support of our art! We can't wait to share it with you!

    Excuse me?!?

I'm afraid you're not going to find any takers on these forums.

I think I could find an equally cool looking helmet for far less at the RPF.

      Falcon Horus,

Thank you for your feedback! These are the types of things we want to know/hear from this forum. We're also on the RPF and Statue Forum, and always want any and all critiques and ideas for our products. We want collector honestly; that's one of the reasons we're so excited about being able to be a part of this Stargate forum!

Our company is a licensee of Stargate props and collectibles, because we love Stargate and want to make the highest quality of collector items. These are molded in 1:1 scale from the original screen-used helmet, made from fiberglass, resin and metal, but we can look into making a smaller, less expensive version if there is a demand.

For our knowledge for the future, is it solely issues with cost, or do size and materials factor in? What would you rather see from us instead of products like these?

Thanks again for all feedback! It helps us and we listen! http://www.chroniclecollectibles.com

I'm not in a position to buy anything expensive, at the moment. Especially since shipping costs are probably going to push the price even further.

I am, however, in a position to state that whatever you do is cool. Just outside of my price range. Personally, I'm more a fan of the Horus guard - the one from the movie, with the pointy beak-thing. But again, sadly not in my price range.

Also, not particularly up to date on what is hot (except for what I see on the RPF facebook page - which surprisingly always tends to start with Iron-something).

It's way outside my price range too.. Since it is 1:1 scale I would want it to be wearable

I don't have the room for it.. So I would really be looking for smaller pieces. Or something I could mount on my wall, like the staff weapons..

Thank you for the excellent feedback! We will definitely explore doing some smaller pieces as well, which will help on the cost. If you do see anything that you absolutely must have, we do offer 3, 6, and 10-month payment plans on our website http://www.chroniclecollectibles.com/stargate-anubis/.

I will definitely keep you posted as we make progress and decide on other pieces. Thanks again!

I would love to have a table top model of Destiny. Price would be a factor though, and I can't imagine that a high quality model of Destiny would come cheap!

Destiny is one of my personal favorites as well. We have to stick to the 1994 movie for now, but thanks to all of your input, we may have to revisit getting licensed for SG-1, Atlantis and Universe. :-) I'll keep you posted!
