Noah Wyle and his work on the Librarian films

I am wondering, if Mr Wyle got his role in Falling skies as the professor, cause of his acting chops and role in the various Librarian films//

Did you forget all those years he played a doctor on ER? Those were pre-Librarian days.

Since i never watched ER (or any other doctor focused show other than House), yes i did forget.

I was just pointing out that his acting chops went way further back than Fall Skies and The Librarian.
