Do you mute the MGM lion?

I routinely mute the MGM lion that roars before and after every episode. It's a habit that slowly grew. Now I'm curious about the rest of you.

Do you mute (or skip over) the MGM lion that roars before & after every episode?

No, I hear the lion's roar!

By the time I remember to grab the remote, the roar's already ringing in my ears.

Perhaps you would sooner have this one, so you dont have to mute

The lion's an icon. Of course, I let it roar.

I see no reason to mute it

It's only a few seconds long so I just let it roar.

One does not simply mute the MGM lion.

It's mainly the end-credits lion that I mute. The theme music draws to a proper end, then Double Secret Productions adds a chime like sound, with a click and "ting". It really truly feels like the end. Gekko Film Corp reinforces this perception with a completely silent credit. It's a pleasing, sensitive way complete the production.

Then that damned lion, with its annoying roar, is disjointedly added.

I used to fast forward as it used to get annoying, mostly if you were watching back to back episodes, i do it with a lot of series

The thought of muting it has never even crossed my mind!

                            Don't really see the point.

I listen via big, over-the-ears, headphones. When watching episodes back-to-back, the roar can be jarring & out of place. Maybe that's why I mute. I can only try to understand my deviant habit after the fact, you see: I only recently realized how often I was silencing the lion.

Is there really no one else who, when binge-watching, skips or mutes the lion between episodes? That's when I really noticed it.
