Not the greatest episode. Thought balloonman was kind of silly. Cobblepot showing up at the end at Gordon's home was cool. Some young detective is going to look really silly now.

Pretty convenient timing though, don't you think?

"Incidentally, honey, this is the man I supposedly murdered."

Not really because the situation would be exactly the same if Cobblepot showed up 5 months later instead of now. He didn't show up in the nick of time to save the day. Gordon's wife already believed him. The only difference now is she has proof and can tell the detective she is full of it.

I wasn't criticising it, just commenting on the amusing timing. It's also amusing that this detective is determined to bust, quite possibly, the only decent cop in the city.
