Yeah but he referred to being Johannesburg something or other. Which suggested he was from an SA based unit!

Its not hard to believe he immigrated to the US and having been to Johannesburg in his past

The confusion stems from him stating he had escaped from camps in SA and the US. I imagine either the aliens moved some humans to a camp in the US or he got a boat/plane.

Or was brought to the US by the aliens as a way to try and stop his breakouts.
