Christmas Carols Redux
If he had to hear that stupid song one more time, he was going to shoot someone. Okay, maybe he wouldn't actually shoot someone but this was going to drive him three fries short of a happy meal wacko!
It wasn't bad enough that the kids had been singing it all week, but he'd heard it in the truck on the way to work, on the radio at work, and again on the drive home. Lord, I get it, ok, this is your season and I am thankful for all you've given me, but please for the love of, well, You, make this torture end!
That prayer? Yeah, didn't work. Because they sang it to him the minute he stepped in the door and all through dinner. His foul mood was not helped by the fact that they were short on time.
Now at the school, camcorder in hand like all the other proud parents in the auditorium, he can't help but smile as his girls begin to sing We Wish You A Merry Christmas.sigpic
