And Trevor Crafts just confirmed that those are indeed character previews.

"Indeed, the 2 sketches are Kendal Kornick and Karla Jorve his sister, they both appear in Issue 1." Trevor Crafts LanternCityTV.com

Here is a link to the Boom! Studios Lantern City Series page with the Issue One cover, a variant cover, and what looks like another variant cover coming soon.

      http://www.boom-studios.com/series/t...e=Lantern City

And here are direct links to the pre-order pages.

Issue One single issue price - $3.99
      http://www.boom-studios.com/lantern-...pre-order.html

      6 Issue subscription - $32.50
      http://www.boom-studios.com/lantern-...ues-01-06.html

You can find this on those pages, but I thought it would also help to post this quote about shipping for those who are interested.

"Pay shipping on the released issue upon checkout; all consecutive shipping charges are included in the subscription price" Boom! Studios Shop Boom-Studios.com

So if you want to order the Lantern City Comic by mail here is how you can do it now and insure you'll have it on or around May 13TH, 2015.

And for those asking themselves the question, I am not affiliated with these people in anyway. I just sometimes find myself with too much time on my hands.

Trevor Crafts sums up the big question.

I am sure he heard it more than once at WonderCon last weekend.

The panel was GREAT ! ! ! Got to see wonderful preview artwork. Got to see Trevor Crafts and Matthew Daley again. And I got to meet Raphael Sbarge. I've known who he is and seen him in various things, but I've never really followed his career. WOW! am I going to start now. Definitely one of my best convention meets ever. Met him earlier in the day at his table then got to talk more with him at the Lantern City panel. Can't wait to see his work on the show. It is so great to be at one of those panels and see the passion in the people trying to bring the project to life.

So that is something I got for going to the C2E2 2015 Lantern City Panel.

Lantern City #1 Preview Edition signed by Trevor Crafts, Matthew Daley, and Raphael Sbarge.

Okay so #2 was released yesterday. I am really enjoying this series, but I guess nobody else in this community is reading it. I love the artwork, especially in this most recent issue.

                  Lantern City #2 Cover.jpg

I mean I don't know comic books, so I don't know if this artwork is good by comparison, but I sure love most of it. I hope they can maintain this level of quality. And the story is pretty intense. I don't know if I would say it is great yet, but I am pretty hooked and can't wait to read more.

Well Issue 4 was released this month and thus concludes the first Arc of Lantern City - The Comic Book. I am loving the artwork and the story has been pretty intense. I am not a comic reader so I'm not really sure if this is a correct critique, but I sure wish things would slow down and be a bit more detailed. Everything is very action packed and moving very quickly. I am enjoying the story and I can't wait to see where it is headed. Did pick this up at Space City Comic Con in Houston last month.

                    07.24.15 Lantern City Gigi Edgley.JPG

That is Gigi Edgley, one of Team Lantern City's choices to be in the TV Show once they get it off the ground.

And just a quick note about Space City Comic Con in Houston. One of the best Con experiences I've ever had in part to the fact that they had panel discussions with actual people from NASA. It was great. NASA had a great info area and booth for buying very reasonably priced merchandise plus 4 panel discussions, though I had to miss one of them and one I did attend had to be shortened because of a schedule issue. Having NASA there was a huge perk.
