I came across a picture of the new British antiaircraft cruiser HMS Dauntless and for some reason I thought of Doctor Who

But the HMS Dauntless is actually a Type 45 destroyer and not a cruiser.

Much like the Daleks too, the Type 45's will exterminate anything in their way.

In the US, afaik, we use cruisers for antiaircraft platforms. Sort of like Supreme Dalek size.

The Aegis type cruiser I believe.

The Royal Navy has tasked the Type 45's for protecting our new carrier's when, and if, they get them.
