The shows in this thread must be set in an older era than when they were made. Shows made in the 70s and 80s, not to mention earlier than that, could look like period dramas to modern viewers, but they don't count because they were considered contemporary when they were made (Dallas-TOS and Dynasty don't qualify for this reason). However, a show made in the 70s or 80s but set earlier does count (say The Little House on the Prairie - made in the 70s and 80s and set in the late 1800s and early 1900s, Happy Days - made in the 70s but set in the 50s - even though HD is borderline because it's a sitcom rather than a drama).
