    Stargate (1994) - Blueprints/Schematics?

Some time ago, samples of blueprints from the original 1994 movie surfaced on the web for auctioning.
Here is one example site with images.

I'm in the process of reconstructing the film set + props as a 3D model.

Does anyone have a copy of these blueprints or anything that would be helpful?
Not that the samples aren't decent, but I can't read dimensions, and mainly why I've been looking is for images, videos, or blueprints of the movie sets in general. I know there used to be an official website for the movie, but IDK if it had anything useful, and it doesn't appear to exist anymore (or I can't find it).

      @Stubba2
      Thank you for your response.

With regards to scifi-meshes.com I prefer to do the meshes myself and don't like to use other people's work, but on the subject of references, what was there is based on the TV show which is a completely different design. So I can't use them as a reference either.

With regards to the second link here on the forums (blueprints); The only material that was revelent to the original film was the Horus helmet, and the cover stones.

What I really need atm is production photos, videos, blueprints, or any information about the sets that were constructed for the film. Main props like the gliders, transport rings, etc are stuff I don't need additional references for. The film footage does provide me enough with those things, but the shape of the rooms, and what is in them (the lesser props) is difficult to tell from just film footage.

I found this video on youtube, and you know this is rare.

I've been relying on this to provide me information that I couldn't quite get simply from watching the film. It has given me a few alternate angles of the sets, but the only downside is that the resolution is awful, because its a VHS recording. The documentary itself is rare because its by Discovery Channel, and around the time of the movie.

It is a pity they didn't do a making BTS extra for the DVD like they did with Stargate continuum. I surf the net a fair bit looking for SG related stuff I will keep my eyes open for you.

found this link to a game mod, based on the original movie. Downloading this mod may give you access to graphics you can use to take measurements. I have used a similar process for ship dimensions when I model.

            PH built a Stargate...

I used the movie gate as a reference for the back of mine.. And there isn't that much difference between the SG-1 gate and the original...

*will have to watch the movie again*

That is the TV show sets/designs. The embark room from the TV show, and the Abydos temple from the TV show.
Movie versions of both are completely different.

Photographs of the set, like behind-the-scenes stuff is what would definitely make this project alot easier.
That will give me better angles/views of details that I might be struggling to get right, or have currently no view of at all.

              @Pharaoh Hamenthotep

I did manage to do the Stargate mesh just fine. Anymore details I have left to do, are material driven (texture combination of diffuse, spec, normal, bump offset).
Only challenge left is trying to recreate all the symbols on the gate, and the symbols are not the same as the TV show.

I made a quick list of some of the differences that I noticed during my 3D reconstruction of the set thus far.

              Scale:
              Movie version: 20-22 feet diameter.
              TV version: 15 feet diameter.

              Chevrons:
              Both have 9 chevrons, but..

              7th Chevron:
Movie: The 7th chevron in film is unique from the other 8.
TV: The 7th is the same as the other 8.

              Chevron behaviour:
Movie: In unlocking the Stargate, the first symbol will make its way to chevron 1, and then second symbol goes to second chevron, repeat, etc.
TV: In dialing the Stargate, each symbol aligns with 7th chevron instead.

Movie: Chevrons each pop out and in (like some sort of locking mechanism), as the symbol is aligned to its respective chevron. Symbol 1 to Chevron 1, Symbol 2 to Chevron 2.
TV: Chevrons have lights/lamps, and light up as each symbol lines up with 7th chevron.

              Symbols:
The symbols differ between the movie gate and the TV gate.

Movie: The Stargate on Earth has differing symbols from the gate on the other side. This is because the constellations on the other side of the universe are different.
TV: All symbols (exluding home symbol) are the same across all Stargates in the galaxy.

Movie: Symbols are engraved into the ring. (Indented)
              TV: Symbols pertrude. (Stick out)
