In another thread the idea was raised about us humans using kull amour for oourselves. The weapon Carter and Jacob developed is not affective on humans (shown in Prometheus Unbound when Daniel shot Valla). This would effectively mean humans wearing the armour are unstopable being as all of our current enemies use energy weapons which are not affective against the armour. Whay hasnt the SGC relised this and utilised this technology? This could be the way we finaly beat the Goa'uld, think about the positions we could take out with a single SG team or take over a Hatak much the same way Valla did. So why has the SGC not relised this or are there flaws I have not seen?

I think that the biggest flaw, if you can call it that, would be that there'd be even less drama in a Jaffa/Tauri firefight than there already is now. "/

The writers have to strike a balance between tech as cool! and tech as deus ex machina. Sam Carter has the ability and the hardware, but she never uses the Goa'uld hand devices - bummer! but I do agree that pulling out the hand device every week would get old in about , oh, two weeks.

So it is simply a case of it would be to easy. We would have too greater upper hand against the Goa'uld. Good for real war, not good for tv.

We have to be the under dogs or Stargate wouldn't be the same. I agree that it would be good for real war but it would end the series on a real downer.

Humans would still be vulnerable to ballistic impact while wearing the armor.

we wouldnt need to, just shoot away, kill the ones that can die and the ones tht dont, there your team,anyway they would probly mark them

You mean aside from the fact that it's bullet-proof and blade-proof? The armour is vulnerable to missile strikes and similar massive force, but bullets are useless.

Kull armour is structured like kevlar, which means that any physical impact that doesn't cut the fibres (which seem almost uncuttable, although I like to assume that a sharp enough blade will do the trick) will have its kinetic energy dissipated through the mesh. A human under heavy fire might end up a mass of bruises from such treatment, but none of the force would be concentrated enough to cause serious harm.
