    Answer to Gauntlet...?

    G'day,

    Was just postulating...

    1 month of food/water... 3 year journey...

30 days food, 1095 days journey

A human can last around 7 days without water and 40 days without food...

So, if there were at least 156 crew on board, and Eli could write a macro to allow easy control over the stasis pods, then they could time-share...

Alas, I don't think there was 156 crew on board... but otherwise....

    cheers

Um, Eli only had the power to sustain life support for three (I think) weeks. He was not going to sit out the three years, he was going to fix the problem soon - or die.

Also, food spoils after some time.
