    Continuum - News/Discussion/SPOILERS

I swear I saw a thread for this show somewhere but all my searches have come up empty so I'm starting a new one.

I just saw a teaser trailer for this. It has some familiar faces including the lead being Rachel Nichols (Conan). Also stars Erik Knusden (Jericho) and Jennifer Spence (SGU).

A detective from the year 2077 who finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver, and searching for ruthless criminals from the future.
For those in Canada it seems like it will be airing on Showcase starting in May.

Here is one of the teaser trailers.

Update: Series premiere will be Saturday May 27th on Showcase.

    You had me at Vancouver

Not sure about the trailer (narration is a little lackluster) but the concept sounds pretty strong. Hopefully the rest of the show will follow suit.

Where exactly is this airing, though? I've never even heard of it before.

It looks like quite a fun ride, hope we will get to see the pilot soon. Maybe in fall?

I've seen this advertised on TV and thought I'd give it a go, looks interesting. Hope it's better than 'Alcatraz' as far as the time travelling criminals concept goes, that was so boring I gave up after yawning and feeling depressed for 5 episodes. I liked 'Time Trax', another cop chasing criminals through time show from the 90's, so see how this goes for me.

If Vancouver is actually starring as itself in this that would be great too, they don't have to hide landmarks to make Vancouver look like somewhere else for a change!

Airing on Showcase in Canada. http://www.showcase.ca/default.aspx

According to IMDB the filming location is actually Vancouver so that should work out great.

Updated my original post with link to the show's website.

It would be awesome if JCVD showed up
At the moment it is Phobos (though time is limited; it is suppose to crash into Mars in the next 100 million years )

Time Trax was the first thing I thought of too. Sounds like exactly the same premise but with a woman as the lead instead of a man.

Hmmm ... maybe it's time to dig out my Time Trax t-shirt.

Hello, I work for Continuum. And thought i'd give you an updated.

The series premieres Sunday, may 27 at 9pm ET/PT on ShowCase

When a group of fanatical terrorists escapes their planned execution in the year 2077, they vault back in time to the year 2012, sweeping dedicated CPS Protector, Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), along with them. Stuck in the past and unable to get back to her husband and son, Kiera concentrates on bringing down the terrorists before they can wreak havoc in our present.

Its a series about time traveling, mingled with police procedural drama.

The view of Vancouver 2077 looks gives a blade runner vibe which is also nice.

I was looking at the show in myepisodes and it only showed the air date for the first episode. Are the air dates for the rest of the season known or does it depend on how the first episodes does?
