OK, it appears that we lucked out. Only two fic were lost in the great server crash of 2005 
as of right now, the fanfic uploader is still not working, and likely won't be until the migration is finished this weekend.
once it's up and running, i'll be contacting the author of the two fic and ask him/her to re-upload their fic
just so that y'all know what's going on with the fanfic archive
