Ya know, ya could have answered his question or provided a link to another thread. I haven't seen the episode, but I don't think anyone really knows. I think it's one of those things the writers didn't think about, honestly.

I think that the real reason is that the writers didn't think to use him or couldn't get the actor. As for the reasoning on the show you need to remember that the Ori hit is homeworld and we never once got an update on how he faired during that whole ordeal. For all we know he is dead or maybe leading his own SG like team. The sad truth is that now that SGU is dead we may never know.

Though IMDB is great for finding movies, it's often inaccurate. Stargate: Universe was cancelled by the SyFy channel after two seasons, forty episodes. The show had a good run, considering the ratings were in the toilet.

Yeah man, I really hate to be the one to tell you this but SGU is gone and I was really sad to see it go.
